Hungry Planet : The Bainton Family

 Hello everyone!

In this blog, I will introduce the food culture of the Bainton family from Southwest England, living near Stonehenge.

From the left, there is Mark Bainton 44, Deb Bainton 45, and sons Josh 14 and Tadd 12.

The Baiton family's Food Culture (British Food) is very different from mine, which is a mix of Japanese food culture and Filipino food culture.

While asian cuisine (Japanese and Filipino etc.) usually has rice with their main dish, British cuisine doesn't and has side dishes that are mainly made from potatoes with their main dish.

The Baiton's family's cooked breakfast

On the weekend, the Baiton family has cooked breakfast (picture above). However, during weekdays, they usually have cold cereal.

In my household, the time everyone wakes up is not the same, so we tend to eat breakfast at different times. Me, my sister, and my mother usually eats bread with strawberry jam and butter whilst my father eats rice, fish and miso soup for breakfast.
